Thermostatic Head
Heimeier Lockshield valves are manufactured from corrosion resistant gunmetal and can be preset or fully shut off by means of a key. All Lockshield valves are standard B.S.P. thread and 1/2"" valves are suitable for use with copper connectors.
Thermostatic Head
Heimeier Thermostatic heads are used to control the temperature of individual rooms from between 6oC to 28oC. Thermostatic heads are seen as continuous proportional controllers that sense and react to temperature changes in the room and require no auxilliary energy to operate. As the temperature in the room rises (sunshine) the head automatically chokes the supply of water through the valve body and as the temperature drops, the opposite occurs.
