PIPE LAYING TIPS:
Use a decoiler to unwind the pipe off the coil without kinking the pipe (part # pipe feeder).
Use conduit-type cutters (part #760100) to produce a clean burr free cut.
Lay pipes in either spiral (Preferred - as pictured left) or serpentine laying pattern (2 of the most common methods).
Securely fix the pipe to the mesh at a maximum of 600mm spacing, using plastic cable ties (part # CABLE TIES) or plastic coated copper wire (part #TIE WIRE). NB: See Hunt Pipe Positioning Board section for information on screed installations.
Start each circuit from the manifold, entering the room through doorways where possible. Lay the circuit in the room at 200mm centres, then returning, following the pipe back to the manifold.
The length of each circuit should ideally be approximately 100 metres.
Use 16mm 90 degree pipe bends on the pipe from the manifold (part #1009004). This keeps the tension and pressure off the manifold, as well as giving a neat and professional looking finish.
