Sime was founded in 1972, situated in Legnago (Verona) Italy. The Format DGT 30 internal and external models are the new updated models of Sime's very efficient compact wall hung boiler range and supersede the popular and reliable Format 34 models. Manufactured under ISO 9001 quality assurance and AGA approved.
The Format DGT models come complete with an inbuilt circulating pump and expansion tank. The 30I is an internal room sealed boiler with electronic ignition and fully modulating operation. The 30E is for external installation and the casing has been developed specifically for Australian conditions. The boilers are ajustable from 10-30 kWs. Maximum Mj 123.
The control panel of the Format DGT combines functionality and technology. Sime uses capacitor technology to create touch buttons. This means there are no mechanical moving parts and the panel is completely waterproof. The boilers have IPX5D protection. The controls are simple, intuitive and extremely user-friendly, while the LCD display and LEDs in various colours provide key information and indicate faults instantly.
The Format DGT models have a 24V DC thermostat connection. The DGT models also offer the option of maximum temperature adjustment which is achieved via parameter selection buttons (extremely useful for slab heating applications).
